When I was running my very first business, I had this recurring nightmare where I was juggling chainsaws while riding a unicycle across a tightrope. (Okay, it wasn’t THAT dramatic, but running a startup sure felt like it.)

After lots of expensive mistakes, I’ve figured out where AI fits:

  3. AI agents: Actually THINK through problems and handle exceptions

  4. Change Management: Focus on how AI eliminates soul-crushing work, not “efficiency” (nobody cares about corporate buzzwords)

This week, track everything your team does for ONE day.

Categorize it:

  • Could AI do this?
  • Does this need human oversight?
  • Is this actually using human creativity?

I’m not trying to minimize headcount — I’m trying to MAXIMIZE impact per person. I want to hire amazing people and give them superpowers.
